Get to Know Our Founder
Grand River Equity Partners was started by Rishi Gupta, who has spent over 10 years in private equity investing and mergers & acquisitions advisory roles in the US and Canada, closing several transactions across different sectors and working closely with management teams as a trusted partner to drive growth.
Prior to forming Grand River Equity, Rishi was at ICONIQ Capital, a prominent multi-family office investment firm in San Francisco, as well as OTPP in Toronto, one of the world's largest pension plan investment managers. Rishi began his career as an Analyst in TD Investment Banking, working in both the Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Institutions groups.

Rishi graduated from the University of Waterloo with a dual Bachelor's of Mathematics & Statistics, minoring in Economics.
